Playtime Friday
Sometimes, life intervenes between the writer and her story. Today was one of those days. Okay, I’ll admit it. I played most of the day. Went out to lunch, visited with in-laws, saw a movie…
But I did manage another 96 words on my current project. I’m now halfway to being able to write “The End.”
As for my Novel Track progress for October. My total count is at the bottom of this page. I reached the halfway mark to my 20,000 word goal on Wednesday. I’m sure you heard me hoopin’ and hollerin’.
Question: Have you ever done battle with yourself–choosing between two funtime activities you enjoy doing, but can only do one of them? Hmmm, which one to do?

Sandy,
I’m afraid I choose “playtime,” “rest time” all too often! And then I wonder why I never get anything written!!

Edwina, I know you work hard at a number of things, including your writing, but we all need that down time, don’t we?
