Speculative Fiction:

Stealthy Steps by Vikki Kestell — My name is Gemma Keyes. Oh, it’s much more complicated than that. (Speculative Fiction, Independently Published)

Supernatural Thriller:

The Tuning Station by Chris A Crawford — Atheist Ted Duncan finds himself face-to-face with a copy of himself from a parallel universe; his counterpart, however, is Christian. The pair are given controls to the Tuning Station, a machine that allows them to observe their pasts, and assigned a deceptively simple task: discover the exact moment their lives diverged. Ted believed that it was inevitable he’d leave faith and family behind. But his twin stands as a denial. What single event could have changed everything he knows to be true? (Supernatural Thriller, Independently Published)

One of the books that catches my eye is the last one, The Tuning Station. It seems to have a unique premise. Do you get tired of the same types of plot lines, or do you have a formula you love going back to time after time?

MUST scoop up Undercover Bride! And I just finished Now & Forever, review coming out tomorrow.

Sometimes, I’ll go through a spell where I’m tired of reading in general, but that’s because of I’m so involved with my own writing or I’m trying to work out a scene in my head and reading interferes. A few nights of rest/not reading usually cures that, and I’m ready to dig back in. Always a happily-ever-after for me, formulaic or not. 🙂
