A number of authors are celebrating accomplishments this month and it’s time to congratulate them on their good news and hard work.

First, though, let’s take time to celebrate the ultimate Good News—that day when Jesus willingly went to the cross as the sacrificial lamb for our sins. Thank you, Lord, for your death and resurrection! Have a blessed Easter, everyone!

Now, let’s High Five!! and celebrate with the following: 

DeAnna Dodson, writing as Julianna Deering, was excited to learn the first book in her Drew Farthering Mystery Series, Rules of Murder, will have an unabridged audio edition, which releases August 1, 2013.

Linda Rondeau cheers over her new contract for Songs in the Valley. The book is a modern-day tale of dedicated love inspired by the book of Hosea, and will be published by Helping Hands Press. The release date is to be determined.

Vannetta Chapman learned her novel Material Witness is a finalist for the Southern Magic Award of Excellence, Inspirational category.

Mary L. Ball signed a new contract with her publisher Prism Book Group. Stone of Destiny will release in the summer. Right now, she’s working on edits.

Angela Breidenbach looks forward to taking her family photo memory quilts on tour with a new talk called Crafting a Legacy in celebration of her upcoming release A Healing Heart, part of the Quilts of Love line from Abingdon Press. First stop is the Garden of Read’n on April 20th, and then into Idaho and Oregon before heading home through Spokane, Washington on April 30th. Jennifer Uhlarik continues receiving good news. This month, she celebrates three accomplishments. First, after finaling in the CF-ACFW Prompt Contest, she learned she won, which resulted in a full scholarship to attend the Florida Christian Writers Conference from 2/27/13-3/3/13. Second, she won first place in the Florida Christian Writers Conference writing contest in the Historical/Biblical category. And third, she signed with agent Jessica Kirkland of the Blythe Daniel Agency. Wow! She’s on a roll!

Deanna Klingel is pleased to announce she’s signed with Sally Apopodek, an agent with the Les Stobbe Agency.
