I’m Expecting …
… the birth of a new book! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist!)
When I first started writing novels a few years ago, I didn’t realize it would be such a scary thing to make that announcement. It’s hard to put your baby out there for the world to see and comment on.
But it’s also exhilarating!
For months, as writers, we labor over ideas and words, characters and description. All of a sudden an editor says, “Yes, I’d like to publish your book,” and we’re counting down the days.
Well, in this case, the due date is January 11, 2016, and the name is A Reluctant Melody. (For more information, check out the book’s page.)
I’ll post more later about the Facebook party on Tuesday, January 12, but you’re invited. We’ll have fun and giveaways!
So, if you’re a writer, I’d like to know what literary baby you’re expecting—contracted or not.
If you’re a reader, what is the one book you’re waiting to see birthed?

Congratulations, Sandy! Takes a lot longer to birth the book than the baby, doesn’t it? 🙂
Burned out on reading, so I’m taking a break. But I’ll be looking for A Reluctant Melody! Oh, and my Roping the Marshal releases in February. 🙂
