The Man I Want to Be by Chris Young
Since I accidentally hit “publish” on my book review of The Curiosity Keeper on August 12 (Ugh! I did!), I give you a look into another of my interests—country music.
The reason I chose this particular video is because:
- Oh, come on. It’s Chris Young and that drool-worthy voice! Need I say more?
- It tells a story that reminds me of a Christian romance—filled with redemption, forgiveness, and second chances. And it has a happy ending!

You wrote a powerful post. I must admit that nothing like that occurred to me when I set up mine. I just like Chris Young! 🙂 And I like the video, particularly the prayer and the man who encouraged him to pray. An angel, maybe?
