High Five Friday!!
Several writers are celebrating the arrival of Spring 2014 with good news. Let’s give a High Five!! to the following:
Michael J. Webb celebrates the fact that his first book in the Giants in the Earth trilogy, The Master’s Quilt, reached number one in Christian Historical Suspense bestsellers on Amazon. If you’ve read the book or plan to read it, Michael would be pleased if you’d add a review on Amazon.
Jennifer Uhlarik celebrates the news that her entry, Storm Over Cheyenne, took third place in the 2013 Launching A Star Contest, put on by the SpacecoasT Authors of Romance chapter of RWA. Also, she won the 2014 Prompt Response Contest by the Florida Chapter of ACFW.
Ane Mulligan rejoices over the news that her husband, Terence Mulligan, has been assigned to design and paint a scene for the cover of her upcoming novel Chapel Springs Revival. The book will release in September 2014 from Lighthouse of the Carolinas.
Vannetta Chapman is pleased that her upcoming March release, Murder Simply Brewed, is featured in BookPage Magazine. The review says, in part, “Vannetta Chapman keeps the action suspenseful, and the who-done-it mostly unpredictable as her Amish and English characters work together to solve the mystery. Out of even such dreadful circumstances come moments of grace: between Amber and her Amish employee Hannah and between Amber and Tate, who had each given up on love.”
Joy Avery Melville is thrilled to announce that she has signed with agent Jim Hart of Hartline Literary. She said her accomplishments can not be credited to her alone. “It was a God thing” and involved many people.
Are you a writer rejoicing over a writing-related accomplishment? Let us know so we can celebrate with you!
