High-five Friday,  The Writing Life

High Five Friday!!

Once again, we’re celebrating the good news authors have received. Give a High Five!! to the following for their accomplishments:

Jerusha Agen signed a three-book contract with Write Integrity Press for Sisters Redeemed, a contemporary fiction series. The series will debut in August 2013 with the first novel This Dance.

Mary Ellis has been blessed to have her novel Love Comes to Paradise, Book 2 of the New Beginnings series, nominated for a 2013 Lime Award by the Christian ManifestoLiving in Harmony, Book 1, won the 2012 Lime Award for Excellence in Amish Fiction.

Maureen Lang celebrates with cover designers Beth Sparkman and Stephen Vosloo from Tyndale Publishers. The cover for her novel Bees in the Butterfly Garden won Grand Prize for the prettiest cover in the Inspirational category for Romance Writers of America’s Judge A Book By Its Cover Contest. (To see the winning cover, check out the link in Maureen’s name.)

Janalyn Voight shares two items of good news this month. On March 12, she’s scheduled for an interview on Alive in Christ radio to discuss how to live an examined life. The show begins at 7 pm. During her segment, which begins shortly after the 8:30 mark, she’ll talk about how the allegory in her epic fantasy novel, DawnSinger, pertains to living with purpose. Also, DawnSinger has been chosen as a March selection by the ACFW book club. She tells us, “There’s still time to read it before the discussion begins March 20th.”

Congratulations to all these writers for receiving recognition for their hard work!

As an author of heartwarming historical and contemporary romance, Sandra Ardoin engages readers with page-turning stories of love and faith. Rarely out of reach of a book, she's also an armchair sports enthusiast, country music listener, and seldom says no to eating out.
