High Five Friday!!
It’s been another month of good news for some of us who write Christian fiction. High Five!! everybody!
Paula Mowery is snoopy dancing over receiving a contract for a second novella. Her first, The Blessing Seer, from Harbourlight released on July 6th. The new novella, Be the Blessing, is a sequel. She’s had reviewers say the first book boosted their faith. “What more could I ask for? Now, I’m so excited about telling the next part of the main character’s story in hopes that it too will encourage others.”
Lena Nelson Dooley was blown away recently when Family Fiction included her on a list of ten authors they recommended to readers who enjoyed Lisa Tawn Bergren’s Glamorous Illusions. You’ll find that list here.
Cynthia Hickey is excited to announced she’s signed a two-book contract with Harlequin’s new Heartsong Line. Cooking Up Love, book one in Finding Love the Harvey Girl Way releases June 2013 and Sugar Plum Dreams releases November 2013.
Susan Page Davis’s book Captive Trail won the 2012 Will Rogers Medallion for Western Fiction, and also is a finalist in the Carol Awards and the WILLA Literary Awards.

Thanks, Jennifer!
I need to rectify a mistake I made. Both of Maggie Brendan’s finals are for Deeply Devoted. Romancing the West is her tagline. Sorry, Maggie!
